The Las Vegas Public Radio division at Portsonic Communications, LLC (Nevada) is one of the companies working to restore the Las Vegas Public Radio brand for the tri-state area's travel and tourism industry. The former public broadcaster's domain structures have been split apart to support the new Las Vegas Public Radio interactive radio service and game module on the upcoming Portsonic Radio devices. Shortly after the Recissions Act of 2025, donations still being received in 2025 for the former Las Vegas Public Radio Inc./KIOF were processed and returned back to the respective donor by the Las Vegas Public Radio division at Portsonic Communications, LLC (Nevada).

Donations to the former Las Vegas Public Radio Inc./KIOF are still being received in 2026. Donations are being held in abeyance and will be processed pending any re-build of the former organzation as a non-commercial public broadcaster following the events of COVID-19, the Recissions Act of 2025 and the closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting back in January. We ask current and former donors to the former Las Vegas Public Radio Inc./KIOF to please delay sending in donations at this time.

Please check back periodically to this website on the status of the former non-commercial public broadcaster until it can be further determined if it will be returning back to southern Nevada airwaves serving the tri-state area with it's original form or in another form due to these extraordinary events.
